Tours Trails & Rides

For tours in your area contact local Bicycle Clubs or Charities. A good place to find out about area tours is your local Bicycle Shop.

For a listing of trails in your area please visit  the Trail Link web site.

Some really great Bicycle Clubs are linked in the Pedal PA web site. Just click above and follow the links to "bike links".

If you are looking for a broader listing of Club see Bicycle Clubs in the USA.

The following is a partial list of tours that I have done with various Clubs which I can recommend based on my limited experience. These are basically flat terrain rides.

Looking for some Off Road adventure that is safe for the entire family? Then check out this place where you can make a full day of biking fun or combine biking with other outdoor activities. Just click on the bikers below.

NEW RIDES FOUND!!

The following is a list of new rides that I have learned about but not done to date.

  • French Creek IRON TOUR - cycling for open space. This ride is for the cyclist who loves hills, and nothing but hills. But it is a beautiful scenic ride that is offered in a variety of distances. If you are not used to hills, I suggest the 15 mile ride for the first timer but you will need to practice on some hilly rides first.
  • The Chester County Challenge for Cancer
  • One of the (not so local) Road Bike Tours that I here about is the Shenandoah Odyssey in Virginia. This is a five day biking tour held in late June through some beautiful historic country with camping or hotel stays each night. It looks to be ideal for those who really like to ride and see the sights.
